The Appraisal Review Board (ARB) is comprised of a group of citizens, appointed by the Borden County Appraisal District Board of Directors to hear and determine taxpayer protest and taxing unit challenges.
The ARB meets in the County Courthouse and posts its agendas 72 hours prior to its meetings.
The chief appraiser assists the ARB in administrative and clerical duties.
The ARB members may not communicate with anyone on any matters related to a property protest except during a hearing on the protest and must swear to that fact before the hearing.
